Writin’! Readin’!
Hi People,
Clearly, we’ve not done a great job of keeping this blog up-to-date (no problem, as I’m imagining that you, the general public, have not done a great job of keeping this blog well-read!). Anyway, I wanted to point out two friends in Portland who are finding success with their art, specifically writing:
-First is Ben Parzybok, who’s just published his first novel, “Couch.” He’s currently on a book tour (which I sincerely hope is as much fun as a rock tour). Here’s what Willamette Week has to say about “Couch.”
-Second is Dr. David Naimon, who has just published his first short story, ever! Not only that, but it’s in a respected, non-crappy literary journal! Holy cucumbers!!!
